Your words speak volume. First a wee debate on "why remain single" a few days back and now this. I think you need to open a session and discuss this fully. Again, make your choices wisely. You living in freedom, making your way in the world, making your own choices, but be warned that it does come with responsibility and an acceptance that time reversal is not an easy thing to achieve. Make them choices today but know that it can't be blamed on someone else downstream.

As I posted earlier, time and the future in the context of our lives today given the 'freedoms' that we ought to enjoy have built up irreconcilable demands. The context of marriage borne from a religious foundation of procreation demanded sticking to one partner, remember this was only for the lesser people, the writers of these laws were allowed to have many a wife and concubines. Now why for the lesser people? It was deemed necessary for economic reasons, need to support the family.
This is the context still preached today, find a likely partner and god forbid if you stray!.
One thing crucial to existence is the need for fulfillment, need to exist. Emotional values were not considered by that narrow conclusion of a marriage context. Don't get me wrong, the world as has turned out is no place to exercise the sexual freedoms that the being equipped with the desires ought to pursue.
What has turned out for us is the need to COMPROMISE. I read that you very much aware of why this is the case. The notion of compromise again doesn't sit well amongst the free people. Why compromise, while I know exactly what I want? Choosing wisely here hence means accepting that the realities of living with another free soul will require foregoing ones own dreams, desires which negates the freedom that we have come to enjoy.
Is there a redeeming solution? Am afraid NOT. The juxtaposition of freedom and life restrictions we faced with mean we have to hope that just a few people understand us and crucially, the partner we choose and end up with understands the frailty that is our lives, of the mind changes that will inevitably happen and that we remain happy in that reality.
Now of those who spend their freedom time worrying about other free peoples b'ness I can't help you with, they are simply wishing they could have the guts to LIVE. they have tied up their existence to hope of a marriage, need of a kid, while their heart's eyes never dry of tears. Choose wisely, life is too short to be wasted.
