In January 2012, Doreen Noni, Creative Director of Eskado Bird, was one of the 70 carefully selected Global Shapers from 36 countries to attend the first ever Global Shapers delegation in Davos, Switzerland hosted by the World Economic Forum representing her fashion label Eskado Bird.
This year, Doreen is the only Global Shaper from the Tanzanian hub attending the Annual 2014 World Economic Forum in Davos ,Switzerland
Her presence didn't go unnoticed! She was a panelist during the session titled “Africa’s Next Billion” which was addressing Africa 's population rising to 2 billion by 2050 and the actions that are needed now to ensure sustainable and inclusive growth.
The panel of speakers consisted of very prominent and influential people. Doreen was sitting along side dignitaries such as his Excellency Goodluck Ebele Jonathan; President of Nigera, Aliko Dangote, President & CEO of Dangote Group, and his Excellency, John Dramani Mahama, President of Ghana.

As Late great Mzee Mandela once said' ''Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world'' I agree 100% with Doreen, in order to change our mindset we REALLY need to educate our people. Where we heading is to scary. Tanzania tunatakiwa kutilia mkazo swala la elimu vibaya mno. Hata kama watoto wetu wanasomea chini ya mti but they have to understand kuwa kwa upeo wa mbali ni kwa manufaa yao na kwa taifa. Tunatakiwa kuwawekea LIMIT watoto wetu wasiusishwe na kila AINA ya matukio yanayotokea katika jamii. kila kisa kina tokea kwenye street watoto wamo hii ni pamoja na kupigana kwa majirani, matusi ya hapa na pale, kila kitu kinachoonyeshwa kwa TV watoto wanaangalia I mean there's no limitation kwa sababu ya malezi, public education kwa wazazi ambao hawana kiwango cha juu cha elimu ni muhimu kwa jamii yetu.
