Today i came upon pictures of Cassies shaved head and all hell broke loose...as i wrote down below we women need to start loving ourself and stop being so hard on ourselved especially when it comes to looks and appearance. I think our Miss universe Flaviana Matata said it best with her baldhead: my beauty doesnt lie in my hair, i am a beautiful african women and i dont view myself from the quality of my hair..
WE as women especially us africans and black women in general needs to start view ourselves and love our natural hair whether its soft or nappy hair. When caucasians or anyone compliments our hair raise your head high and say thanks love. When somebody critisize your hair because its nappy or whatever tell that fool i love it and i wouldnt have it any other way its what god gave me and thats why its in my head and not yours.Anyone can have beautiful hair as long as its treated propely and using the rite product is the first step, so ladies love yourself and always do you whether its shaved,a wig, a perm, braided, the big afro, dreads,cornrolls and weave honey., and one last thing with our hair we are able and can do so many things so stop being afraid and rock that hair..much love Nuru
